I've been way behind on my mail. Just got through reading about people's view on SSI. I tried for a couple times years back for my Bipolar Disorder.
Naturally denied and learned how to cope with the problems even though I still couldn't work. I decided that there were many other's worse off that really
needed it.
My son was born in 1975 with Cerebal Palsey and received SSI instantly. He?has been through alot and including having many seizures a month. But with
God's help we got through.
I have gotten more problems and had to try for SSI again and was denied again, I now have many things wrong but the worse is a pinched nerve in my back. To make a long story short I have appealed it this time and have a lawyer from legal aid going with me. I have MRI reports and CD pictures of the? pinched nerve in back.
I was told it can take up to 3 years to get called in. This is fine as there's many other's waiting too. But I have a deep feeling that it will go through this time. I have many medical things that need done but until then I can't get them done. I'm on enough pills to choke a goat but I'm in severe pain most of the time and the pills help some.Thank goodness for the $4.00 prescriptions at Walmart and Target.
I hope that ones that really deserve SSI get it. And I agree with those that feel the people that apply and don't really deserve it are wasting time for the ones who really need it. If Isaid something that sounded wrong IK'm sorry. I have this problem of expressing what I really mean in the right words.
